The project was co-founded in November 2004 by Patrick Mc Mahon, a nurse from Meelin, North Cork and Dr.Singh, who is a Paediatrician from Varanasi, the oldest city of India, located in northern state of Uttar Pradesh.

Pat could not overlook the suffering and great need of malnourished children and their families. The health system in India is such that if a family cannot afford hospitalisation or medicine they are simply turned away.

We want to join Pat in telling the stories from Hospital in Varanasi where they care for sometimes critically-ill children to more people who have a heart for human suffering and means to help. Funds are hard to get and every contribution, however small, can change one life today.

100% of your donation goes directly where it’s needed: to providing medicine and nutrition to mothers and children in need. Your generosity is rewriting their story.
